Started in 2002 by two moms, Kendra and Amy, Smart Mom LLC is the perfect company for busy moms! They are a mom-friendly company, and are truly all about family. Their products, which started with a teething necklace, has continued to grow and gain popularity, even with personal celebrity endorsements like Tori Spelling. The company, which not only focuses on family, also focuses on donating and giving to charities and causes that benefit moms around the world.
Their primary product, the Teething Bling, is a necklace made to allow your baby a safer alternative to teething rings and toys that have BPA, PVC, latex and other harmful toxins in them. The up-side? You can wear some modern, colorful jewelry that doesn’t leave you arguing with your child over them playing with your “bling!”
Their motto for Teething Bling is “Beautiful for moms and safe for babies,” and this couldn’t be more true! Many moms find their little ones grabbing and chewing at things that are unsafe for them, so the alternative to wearing unsafe jewelry is to wear something that is not only stylish, but useful! Teething Bling jewelry is made from non-toxic materials such as those that are phthalate, BPA, PVC, latex and lead-free. In addition to being beautiful and useful, they also have a breakaway clasp in back for added safety for those concerned about the length of the necklace itself.
All their products have been tested to be safe and appropriate for children of the age where they have emerging teeth, as a child with teeth may be able to bite through the Teething Bling. Their products comply with CPSIA standards, CE standards (the European safety standards) and are made with federally approved materials. All products have test reports that are available to anyone who requests them.
They are continuing to expand their line of jewelry to include “Babe Magnet Ties,” which are men’s ties that include squeakers inside them for their child’s enjoyment.
